Onboarding for Foreign Individuals and Legal Entities

Learn about the additional requirements to register as an ARL Freight Company customer if you are an individual or legal entity based outside Mexico.

If you are a foreign individual or legal entity, we will ask you to provide the information and documentation applicable to individuals or legal entities, as appropriate.

What will you need?

In addition to the requirements applicable to your customer type, you must provide the following documentation:

Individuals from the United States

Valid passport

Submit a complete, legible, and valid passport.

Form W-9

The form must be properly completed, signed by hand, and dated within the same calendar month in which it is submitted.

Legal Entities from the United States

Formation document

Submit the entity’s formation document, such as its Articles of Incorporation, Articles of Organization, or equivalent, depending on the type of entity. The document must be complete, legible, and signed by the applicable partners, shareholders, members, or governing body, as appropriate.

Proof of legal existence or good standing

Submit this document when required or available under the laws of your country or the state or jurisdiction in which the entity was formed.

Form W-9

The form must be properly completed, signed by hand, and dated within the same calendar month in which it is submitted.

⚠️ Important: We do not accept photographs of documents. All documents must be submitted either as the original electronic file or as a complete and legible scan of the physical document.

If your country does not issue one of the documents listed above or uses a different name for it, you may submit an equivalent document that provides or establishes the same information. If you are unsure which document applies to you, our team can help you identify the appropriate documentation. Please contact us through our Customer Service Center for assistance.
