Passwords

Learn how to create and protect your password to help prevent unauthorized access to your Online Services account.

How should I protect my password?

Your password is one of the security measures used to protect your Online Services account. You are responsible for keeping it confidential and taking reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

You should:

  • Use a strong and unique password that you do not use for other services.

  • Never share your password with another person, including anyone who claims to represent ARL Freight Company.

  • Avoid storing your password in places where others may easily access it.

  • Change your password promptly if you know or suspect that it has been compromised.

  • Make sure that only you enter your password when accessing your account.

ARL Freight Company will never ask you to disclose your password.

What security requirements apply to my password?

We may establish or modify password requirements from time to time to help protect your account and our systems. These requirements may include minimum length, complexity, password history, or other security criteria.

We may also require you to change your password when we reasonably consider it necessary for security purposes.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, you can request a password reset through Online Services. We may require additional authentication or verification before allowing you to create a new password.

If you no longer have access to your registered email address, mobile phone number, or another authentication method required to reset your password, you may need to contact us so that we can verify your identity before restoring access to your account.

What should I do if someone else knows my password?

If you know or suspect that another person knows your password or has accessed your account without authorization, change your password as soon as possible and contact us through our official support channels.

We may take additional measures to protect your account, including terminating active sessions, requiring additional authentication or verification, temporarily restricting access to certain features, or suspending access to your account.

Can my company require my password to be changed or disabled?

If your account is associated with a company or another organization, its legal representative or an authorized administrator may request that we reset or disable your password, restrict access to your account, or take other measures to manage your access to Online Services, provided that they are authorized to do so on behalf of the organization.

We may require additional verification before processing such a request and may take any other security measures we reasonably consider necessary to protect your account, the organization, or our systems.

Who is responsible for actions taken using my password?

Your password is personal and confidential. You are responsible for protecting it and must not share it with others.

Actions performed through your account using your password or other valid authentication credentials will generally be treated as actions performed or authorized by you. If your account is associated with a company or another organization and you are authorized to act on its behalf, such actions may also be treated as actions performed or authorized on behalf of that organization.

You must notify us promptly if you know or suspect that your password, authentication credentials, or account have been compromised or used without authorization. We may investigate the circumstances and take any security measures we reasonably consider necessary.
