Changing or Removing Access

Learn how your company can modify, restrict, suspend, or remove a user’s access to Online Services when their responsibilities or authorization change.

Can my access be changed or removed?

Yes. If your account is associated with a company or another organization, its legal representative or an authorized administrator may, within the scope of their authority, modify your permissions or request that your access to Online Services be restricted, suspended, or terminated.

We may also change, restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the company, other users, your account, or our systems; comply with applicable law; prevent fraud or misuse; or enforce our agreements or policies.

What happens when a user is no longer authorized?

The company should promptly remove the user's access or notify us when a user is no longer authorized to access Online Services on its behalf.

Until access is removed or we receive and process a valid request to restrict or terminate it, actions performed through an active account using valid authentication credentials may generally be treated as authorized in accordance with the applicable terms.

We may require additional information or verification before processing a request to modify or terminate access.
